Hi All,

I'm experiencing some issues with my ignition and I think it might be creating the transmission problem as well.
This started some months back and has continued to get worse. First off, the car will normally start on the the first attempt. Sometimes it takes turning on and off a few times to get it to crank and start.

The current issue is after driving for 15-20 min.'s,the speedometer starts to fluctuate from current speed to O, up and down. This also causes the tranny to do a slight slip of it's gear until the speedo returns to normal.. It doesn't slip every time the speedo acts up.
When cold, the trans works fine under torque and a hard load.

I'm wondering if the fault lies in the ignition switch, icm/pcm,etc.. It seems to take this amount of time to heat something up, perhaps..

Any thoughts or experience with this type of problem you could share would be appreciated.

Thanks
