LIM gaskets leaking, tranny shifting hard after warm up...

Plus the standard stuff you look for on a used car. Signs of abuse, that sort of thing.

Pay attention to the transmission. They can go bad if not treated properly.

make sure the car is ''clean'' in general. Generally a clean car is a well maintained car. Beware awre that degreaser under the engine bay can work really well to a sellers advantage...so as said befor look for leaking gaskets ect.

Just curiouse, Did the owner know anything about the car or gp's in general? usually when they know a lot about there cars (especially when it's a ''special'' one) they tend to take more pride in it therfore taking better care of it....at least imo....But if you said it's good I guess that kinda answers my question...

Any way when ya get it be sure to post some pics

Congrats!! The 2000 Daytonas are beautiful cars and already have some pretty sought after appearance mods done to them from the factory. 1999 and 2000 GTPs in general are my preference anyways. Post some pics and info up when you get it. Have fun at the bank!!
