I parked the car in the garage this morning after I drove to my friends house, and ten minutes later i came out and noticed there were a couple puddles of what seems like oil under the car. So i jacked it up and went under the car to get a closer look. The leak seems to be coming from the axel area on the passenger side right behind the oil pan. Its coming from where it looks like the transmission meets the shaft or something... theres a round rubber piece just hanging there and Its dripping from that. theres alot of grease around that area because i have a broken cv boot clamp which I'm fixing today. Sorry about the pics... kinda hard to get good ones when i dont have a lift.

I also noticed that the wire to this sensor is cut. Its located towards the front of the engine on the bottom of it.. is it a knock sensor?

next to the oil filter there is a sensor, i bet its leaking out of the wire plug, mine dripped right on to the cv boot and looked like it was coming from where the axle goes in the trans, if u remove the pass side front wheel and look at the oil filter the sensor is right next to it, removing the wheel is the easiest way to get to the sensor too, 12 dollar fix if thats it. start the car and watch the sensor , mine was pouring oil out of it, and the axle seems to whip the oil all over the place too.

i believe its the oil pressure sensor it unscrews, unplug it first, u need like a 1 inch wrench or so, i used channel lock pliers because theres not much room to get to it, and it was easier than flipping the wrench over and over, the new one i got had thread sealant on it already, so screw in the new one plug it in and its done, i'd make sure thats what it is first.
