    According to my tach, my shift points are at 5500rpm. Stock. Should I go any higher once I get headers on? If so, how much higher? Or, is there no point revving past 5500rpm?
    2002 GTP: K&N, 3.2 pulley, flipped mounts. ZZP SS headers, 180 stat, NGK TR6's, MSD wires, Reptile ported TB, ported S/C, ported LIM, Intense Stage II heads with larger Manley severe duty SS valves, Yella Terra 1.9 full roller rockers, LS6 springs, Racetronix fuel pump re-wire, Oil pressure "kit", JMB FWI. Mustang dynoed at 240 WHP, 272 WTQ.

    NO... you need cam, rockers, tune, springs, timing chain, Alot before you think about changing shift points.
    Red GTP coupe, Intake, Poly Dogbones. 8K HID's, Headers, DIY HUD, Aeroforce Scan Gauge,Kenwood Excelon KDC-X794, MSR 045 18" rims, Borla Cat-Back.

    So, then why are your shift points stock...and you have a Intense PCM? That doesn't make sense to me...they should be set at either 5800 or 6K.

    He probably chose to have the shift points left stock as an option.

    5500 is stock?

    I thought it was closer to 5800

    whatever your tach reads is always a couple hundred rpm over what the actual shift point is.

    I had them leave the stock shifts since I've heard there's no power over 5500. Thanks guys.
