I recently purchased a 2005 grand prix GT. All stock

I has been about a month or so now, and everything has been great other than every now an again when I start the car, it starts but instantly stalls. It will usually start right up with a 2nd try. Kind of strange, but I have herd that it is common for these cars. I also was in a buddies 06 grand prix that did the exact same thing. I would like to fix it, but it is something I can live with because im am confident that it is not a real big deal, although it seems like when ever this happens I have to reset my calender and sometimes the time on my radio.

Does anyone know what is going on?

I have cleaned the battery terminals, and the battery seems to be good.

I have herd that a PCM reprogram will fix the stalling issue, but does anyone know if I were to get a high performance reprogrammed pcm if that would fix it also other than just the GM reflash?

I would check the battery volatge before ruling it out

If i remeber right 06 they went with a different pcm, which venders with hptuners can not reflash. Instead they use a recalibrated 05 pcm.

Nothing great Just a small T66 Turbo with a Hv3 On a stock tranny untill i finish the other one.
