My horn is bad and doesn't make a sound when you push it at all. My service engine light is on, and i JUST bought the car. Would having a bad horn cause the SES light to come on?

get the code, that would help.
horn is not going to make a ses light come on, take it to autozone and have it scanned.
the horn, look under the hood, find the horn, (its up front by the grills) check the wires to it, if you run 2 wires off the battery to it, it should beep, if not buy new horn, they are cheap. and you can pick the tone you want too. deep or high pitched, or in the middle.

yeah i'm pretty sure you can just take the key and your original and be like here make me a copy. i have a local place that's been open for years and years, it's really old school they dont give a fek.
i think that year still uses a chip, and you need to know the ohm's of your old key, to buy another one that will work, you need both keys to program it, old and a new one.
yeah i believe the instructions on that site i gave him tells you to use the original key, take it out and then put the new one in to program it.
@GTLGDP, thank you for the information that I requested. Unfortunately, I do not have the dealership pricing of a replacement key. However, if you would like to send me with a private message with your VIN and zip code, I would be happy to contact dealerships within or around your area about this information.
