    i got some supplies for my intake ..do i need 3"coupler or 4 ....and do i need a 45 angle pipe 4" or 3" i hear 2 differnt stories..plz help i got a 4"coupler and a 3" pipe so what do i need to do ...take the cupler back and get a 3" or take the pipe back and get a 4" ...

    get a 3.5" inlet filter and put it on the throttle body.

    Where do you put the AIT sensor if the filter is slapped directly on the TB?

    Zip tie it somewhere close to the filter.

    yeah i was running the filter right of the throttle body...just had my sensor zip tied on top of the filter

    You hear about 3" pipes because those are geared for '04 and up cars. They have the air flow sensor separate from the throttle body. The housing for the sensor is 3" in diameter, so it's kinda pointless to do anything larger on that generation of GP.
    2005 GTP - AL 605's gapped at .055", SD headers, WAI with 9" cone air filter, 180 degree t-stat, green coolant, otherwise stock.

    4in coupler, 4in pipe, 4in filter, drill hole for IAT... done.

    Do you know what size drill bit you used to make a snug fit?
    I don't want to drill unless I know the exact size I need yah know

    get a rubber grommet to put the iat in...

    i used a small one and kept enlarging the hole till the proper size so i was exact
