I have a 98 gtp. It started shutting off while driving. The headlights, radio cuts off also as if you turn the ignition switch off. I'm thinking its the ignition switch going bad but I wanted to check with a few others that may have had the same problem. Also every time it's happen I was turning the wheel.

do the RPMS drop to zero????
my guess is that your CPS sensor took a dump, common problem, easy fix.

same thing happened to my car, except my gauges were flipping out too.. turned out to be the ignition switch

sounds like a bad ignition switch.

it just shuts off without warning but starts right back up.

I would say ignition switch also. CPS would kill the engine but not the electricity
