    Hello all,
This is my first of I hope will be many posts, please bear with me.

I have a general question of opinion on a replacement fuel pump.

Of the ones I have seen online prices range from 150's to near 350 and up.
I have no hot rod by any means; all I am looking for is a good replacement.
I have gone through the normal sequence of diagnosing and have come to the conclusion that the pump is no good!
So I come to the experts to find out what they think.

    1. Airtex $251.99
    2. Bosch 373.99
    3. Delphi Automotive $360.99 (this may be what’s in the car now)
    4. Napa $281

Are there any kind of qualities I should look for? Fuel pump pressure rating, fuel pump gallons per hour?

Any help or opinions are appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.

Morad Parts Company - 3800 Motors, Transaxles, & Stock Parts

Also, say if he does not want a used one, what brand is a GOOD brand to buy that won't take a dump in a few months/years?

im sure if you go to a parts store you can buy a rebuild kit, should come with everything you need, last kit i got was for a 03 truck cost 35 bucks or so. its not much more work than removing it and replacing it, very few parts involved.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW
