    So the car had been running fine, nothing out of the ordinary. One day I was at a red light and the car stuttered a second and died.. It started up, and stalled immediately. And then the same again... Then to even get it started I had to hold the gas to the floor as soon as I let off the gas it would die. I finally got it to stay running long enough to throw it in drive and get off the road... I put it in park and it ran perfect like nothing was wrong...

    I shut it off and it fired back up no problem... It drove fine.. The next day my wife drove the car and it ran fine, no problems at all.

    This morning I was going through a drive through and was idling and the same thing happened.. It died out and I had all the same problems starting as I did the first time.

    I parked the car turned it off a minute, then restarted it and it ran fine like nothing was wrong. I could however smell a sulfur type smell which made me thing it was my cat...

    Also I notice if I get on it and go WOT on the express way I can smell a really bad sulfur smell come into the car...

    From my research I did on here I know it could be the CPS.. But does that add up with the sulfur smell?

    CPS is looking more like the problem... It stalled out on me while driving down the road... And the rpm tach was jumping around slightly up from where it rests, it was like pulsating...

    Okay so I changed my IAC valve, and it seemed to idle and run a lot better! Then I went to the store and when I came out, I had the same problem it would start then die immediately I had to keep the gas down to keep it running. Even then it was sputtering and a lot of smoke was coming outta the exhaust. I managed to start driving and I could put ti to the floor and it would sputter along at no more that 20mph.. I let off some and it sputtered up to about 30, then it seemed to clear up and ran fine again, I had all the power back all of a sudden... Stopped at a light and it was alright, I got on it some and it could break the wheels loose no problem...

    I have changed the IAC and the cam shaft positioning sensor so far... This is driving me crazy since it will run fine one monent and not at all/barely the next...
