I need a map for my top swap because I want to run a two bar. (YES I KNOW ABOUT THE ISSUES!) I know I probably want to run a Grand Prix L67 MAP because I have a Grand Prix L67 wire harness BUT why are the L67 Monte Carlo and L67 Grand Prix MAPs different? Is it because the Monte Carlo L67 only runs a 1 bar? I looked on Rockauto.com and it looks like the Grand Prix L36 and the Monte Carlo L67 MAPs are the same.

Out of all the ones on the list, the only one thats prolly correct is this one: ACDELCO Part # 2131631 {#12580698, 12615136} replaces 12580698

That's kinda what I figured. I was just wondering why they would show a 1 bar MAP for an L67 Monte Carlo.

I have an L36 and apparently there is some issues with running a 2 bar MAP on a Monte Carlo L36 top swap.

Pcm doesnt need to know you are. Enrichment is commanded by TP Percent, and Spark is calculated by lbminVS RPM. I ran a one bar for 2 years when I was boosted. You run the one bar on a vacuum line that doesn't see boost like off the TB. You must however change some Bin's in your tune to run the 2 bar map

From what I read you can just unplug the MAP and tune around it through the MAF. I don't want to do this so I guess we will see what happens. I just ordered a new 2 bar MAP.

My call stalls with no map, Or if I run the one bar on my two bar tune. What tables were changed Im unsure of. I ran a zzp tune at the time and they flashed it for the 2 bar.

L32 MAP? Isn't that just a two bar MAP also? lol **EDIT** Actually I just looked. The L32 MAP is the same as the one used on the L67. FTW!

Nevermind, reread your fisrt post. Benefit of the L32 MAP is it's the same design as the L36. Seeing is you have a L67 harness, it'd defeat the purpose of running one as you'd have to splice wires now

L32 MAP (what I run on my L67 swapped SE)
