    Hey guys,

My 04 GTP Comp G has a blower problem. I've skimmed the tech section and haven't found a similar situation. When I start the car, it's usually 30 seconds to 5 minutes before the fan starts. Once it starts, it runs perfectly at any speed until I shut the car off. Upon restart, same thing. 30 seconds to 5 minutes before the fan starts.

I had a quick look at it tonight. (Car has manual climate control). The control box by the blower under the dash seems to have 11-12V all the time (key on or off). I can't pick up any voltage on the brown wire. On the 2 wire plug that goes directly to the fan, it generally shows 6V to 12V. At 6V, the fan won't run. At 11-12V, the fan will start. With the key on and the fan control set to high, it will hover at 6-8V for a few minutes and then for no reason, jump to 11V and the fan will start.

Sorry for the long story. Anyone know what my problem is?

    Thx.

    KK

kinda seems like the wires may have HIGH RESITSTANCE, some where along the wires from power to motor. A wire may be frayed or it might be shorting itself then when you hit a bump or somthing it might cause it to go back to regular operation.
