ok ive got a 98 gtp, only thing done to it it "4 open cone intake (HAI) and u bend and cat delete. why im i seeing so much KR? i saw 8.3 kr today. the car is basically stock, are you suppose to have that much kr stock? And i know its real cause it only happens in high rpms when its floored. What can i do to help it? i personally think its the bosch plugs i have in the car....i didnt put there, came with the car, just noticed it. could that be what cause so much knock, cause of the heat range?

8.3 seems pretty high esp with the u bend gone and a intake. Could be many factors. Id suspect the fuel system has something going on and maybe its leaning out. Posting a scan would help

that is a lot, i'd stay out of WOT for awhile. change the plugs out to autolite 606's, i've heard 3800's don't like bosch. my question is, what happened to the rear o2 sensor? if it's not there, it should be sending a code, and if it's not there it could cause a lean situation. do you have an emulator or anything?

Doesnt really help. What bio is wanting is a basic excel style spreadsheet of everything the car is doing while idling, normal driving, and a slow steady increase to WOT so we can determine where the flaw is at by how the engine is running during these conditions.

Click the link and youll see what im talking about in this thread

too much to pay attention to. you need to scan so you can reference like 6 different values at the same time.

Lft at 12 Wot is a major factor of your knock. your afr is just commanded and not a true afr unless you have a wideband.

ok so what does the the LFT mean? is it lean is it rich? and i know the afr is not true...still gives you an idea of where your ratio is..

that means your way lean. Id say about 5-7 percent lean. For example if you were running a 11.5 afr you could really be hitting 12.1-12.3. which would explain the high levels of Kr. Sounds like you have something on the fueling end creating issues or a crap tune. A real scan would help and a reading on fuel pressure would aswell

0420 is for the rear cat. Not causing this no. Could be related. Id say you have a fuel pressure issue. Maybe the pump or a FPR

maybe fuel filter? never looked at it since ive had the car...and i doubt the guy before me ever looked at it...and i teed my boost gauge from the FPR area, could that be causing some kind of delay... i wouldnt think so, thats why i teed it there, because that line is coming straight out of the manifold.

Vac T there is fine. You can try your filter and see what happens. Also pull the vac line for the FPR and see if it has gas in it.

ok..so i tested fuel pressure, 41 when idling, 52 when i take off the hose to the fpr, vac at 18-19.5 in....so idk, what is the fuel pressure suppose to be at? i mean im not having any drivability issues...just when im at wot at like 4500 to redline. even when i do a part throttle run just to accelerate, no knock

sounds like your tune is off or you have a small vac leak which is forcing the car to run lean.
