That's what I am thinking. If I was you, I wouldnt go WOT until you get this addressed. If there any local tuners...see if you can get them to tune ya.

but my car is stock...i dont have an tunable ecu...unless the stock one is tunable...sorry for the noobness lol...i know alot about cars, but new to these...
ecu=pcm for these cars (Powertrain Control Module) just for future reference
if its stock you can get it reflashed at the stealership
and what would that do for me? reinstall the stock tune?
it would do nothing. if your car is stock then something is wrong. im still leaning vac leak.
right, check yourself first and be pretty sure the PCM is screwin up before you pay to have it done
what should the vac be at on these cars? i just did another vac test, and blocked off a suspected hose, and still the same 18 to 19in. and i just took some maf readings, and i get 5.6g/s at idle and 159g/s at wot...converted its 21 lb/min whichever is easier..is that a normal reading?
If you 18 -19* it doesnt sound like a vac leak to me. Possibly just a whack tune IMO. If it was me.... I would unplug the battery for like 30 mins... then plug it back in. This will force the PCM to relearn the fuel trims.... which could take several med-long drives.
^^ lol i know, i didnt bother to say anything...didnt want to sound like a dick...so this pcm has to be unplugged for 30min?? well battery i mean..
yeah, then drive it for a while
can i leave it unpluged overnight? then drive it in the morning..or it has to be exactly 30mins?
you can do the overnight thing.
Just dont forget else you'll think your car is dead haha.
ok heard lol, should i do any wot pass in this relearn process?
not really.
The car doesnt learn fuel trims at WOT IIRC
ok and should i have unplugged the the positive or negitive terminal?..i know some cars are diffrent about that...
either?
Depends if the car was wired with conventional or modern electricity.
i'm not kidding about that either.
it doesnt matter, however, youre 'supposed' to disconnect the negative terminal when disconnecting batteries.
how the hell would i know that! lol
