Kicking the Idea around about switching since E85 is everywhere around me. My gp is not my DD. If you are running E85 what did you do to get it RIGHT? What pulley are you running and what is your timing? I know you need the fuel pump rewire, #60 injectors , tune and a different type of fuel filter. Tell me about your exp with e85. If you dont know about this please leave this to the people that have the exp thanks.

e85 is like 6:1 air fuel for a good mix... terrible terrible fuel mix will result in even worse gas mileage..
run meth and 94 octane aand you can reach for the stars... i wont even consider e85 although its near me

94 octane isn't availible in most places... but it is REALLY common around here though.

All we have is 87 89 91 here unless 8 bucks a gallon seems fair and for that we have 100

94 is basically 12 cents more per gallon versus 91 octane. its quite the steal really.

well technically 94 octane is E10- 91 with 10% ethanol.... so you could always put in 1/8 of a tank of e85 and you will make a 94 octane.

so i just need 100 gallon reserve tank of e85 and just add a couple gallons to my 91 before track time lol

By not considering E85 you are doing yourself a disservice. Ive got multiple local cars getting 20+ MPG on E85 open loop tuned 3800s. Also, the max power AFR of E85 is more broad then pump gas... not to mention its more forgiving if you were to have fueling issues that make you go lean (you probably wouldnt blow up).e85 is like 6:1 air fuel for a good mix... terrible terrible fuel mix will result in even worse gas mileage. i would loooove to run e85. but with how much driving i do, its my daily, and the fact that the closest one to me is 20 min away and after that about an hour... its just not practical at the moment. its good stuff, just not popular in my area yet sadly.
