Maybe im an idiot... but I can't seem to get it out. Obviously there are 4 bolts on the bottom, but I can't figure out how else it is attached. Anybody taken one out? Gotta remove it to poke some holes for switches...

its just those 4 bolts and then below the storage compartment it has a clip that holds it in, lift up on that and then slide it backward.

would that clip be inside the storage compartment?

no its on the underside, it is a bigger version of the clips that hold the a pillars on.
