What should I look for on my GTP?

As we know, every make/model has it's quirks.
My new ride, 94 grand prix GTP, 189,000 miles.

I have not had much change to really "know" this car yet, as I just picked it up today.

The problems I have noticed -
Sometimes when wheels are turned and you accelerate, there is this loud single pop noise (unlike the CV clicking)
Oil leak pretty bad but not so much that car can't be driven.
Turn signal has to be held in a special way to work.
Keyless entry inop, remote DOES have good batteries. Trunk nor doors work with remote.
engine idle RPM seems to surge a bit when I turn on the lights.
Driver lock switch itself seems inop, driver side works, also car does lock doors when put in gear.
Power steering barely helps, maybe due to low tire pressure.

I have not investigated any of these yet.

What I would like to know is what other common problems I might look forward to or prevent?

As I said I have not really been able to dig into anything yet but any advice about above problems would be great.

There's a forum called safely modding your 3800 engine. I know you have a 94 GTP but it may help. Also run through and replace some of your fuses. Change your fluids and replace your suspension.

that thread wont help since the 94's had either the 3100 or the 3400 IIRC.
