Hello, I own a 97 GTP Grand Prix, and I am smelling gas fumes when I turn on the air conditioner. Any ideas where to start on a diagnosis? Thanks!

Yes, sorry I posted it 2wice because I was unsure what thread to start it in. I did take it to the shop and it was leaking out of the injectors. Gas was sitting around the injectors, and was just accumulating in a hurry....Sorry about posting in the wrong section, I was just frantic when I smelt the gas. I was worried that it was gonna catch fire, so I got it worked on. Thanks guys!

lol, dont worry about the fire. my **** was spraying 33 pounds a minute straight onto the alternator when the fuel rail broke lol. just get some engine cleaner and hose it off real good, you'll be fine

I've been smelling gas too, guess I need to check it for leaks around the injectors.

Well I looked didn't see any leaks ....

Check the connections above your supercharger. Thats most likely where it is coming from.

It was the gas cap. I was putting gas in and noticed that the area where its supposed to seal was kinda dull looking and it wasn't sealing. Got a new cap no smell !
