    After I made my intake from a very helpful thread, I hear a scratchy sound coming from the intake. It stops after like harder throttle or 15mph but upon startup and idle it makes this scratchy, rusty sound. Did I do somethin wrong or is the filter maybe messed up from the factory(its brand new) and its pretty embarasing qhen u start it prole prolly think its A pos. P.s. It never made this sound before. And it almost sounds like my air conditioner did when the clutch was going

    The sound you are describing is normal, untill the car is warmed up.

    welcome to the wonderful sound of the IAT passage.....only way to kill it is with a n* or ls1 tb

    Its an annoying noise but normal

    My intake will sound like that here and there... sounds pretty normal to me
    Black 2000 GTP Coupe. SSAutoChrome headers, K&N Cold Air Intake, Reptile Tuned PCM, 3.4" ZZP MPS, 104 Autolites & 180 Stat.

    PS3 Online: Zirpola (Dont use mic.)
