i have a '00 GTP Gold Edition. i have been told that "The Gold package included black badges with gold outline, gold striping on the sides just above the side faring, black and gold wheel center caps and gold anodized (not painted)torque star wheels. Only 25 GTP coupes were built in Canada with this option in 2000. It is listed in the Canadian brochure but not the American brochure."

what is so special about this car? i plan on removing all the pinstripes, badges, and having the wheels powder coated black. every time i talk about this with GP people they freak out like i am crazy. are these wheels worth anything? i would be willing to trade them away if someone has one of the other OEM sets of wheels i like but i can't seem to find them.

I've only seen one like yours with all the gold trim over the years. Its fairly rare, is it worth anything though? No. The only GPs bringing above market value nowadays are the 1998 Daytonas...

    Same Douchebag On ClubGP-

ahh yes the "reverse opening hood" or maybe it's the spacers that dropped my air intake temps down 50 degrees during idle (according to ZZP when it's was hooked to there comp)

unlike most of you GP guys i'm not a ricer, i don't like hoods with 4 scoops and vents, sweet red wire loom and hose kits, grill mesh (both in the grills and on my engine cover), bigger wings that can be used as a bird bath, ebay corner lights, painted blowers, or ****ty sounding exhausts. i mod my car a different way, if the mod doesn't make the car run better, or look more clean. i don't bother with it. sorry if that mindset is not something you can grasp.
no printout, was just up there getting my PCM flashed by turbo tim. and i didn't keep it to myself, posted it on another GP forum but don't post here much.

i'm not one to go crazy with build threads, i just do things, if they work then they work, if not i undo it. plus it'll be getting a intercooler come tax time, so it'll provide the clearance i need for that. in order to do it requires cutting the fenders anyway, most people with GPs aren't willing to sacrifice looks for performance.
Clearance for a intercooler? Cutting the fenders as well? Rofl....

weather strip is out too. how can you justify having 4 vents in a hood to cool it off, but not one line at the back that it larger than the 4 scoops all combined. it's not a show car, i don't car if it looks pretty. stop worrying about the damn hood lol. it's not changing, and i like it!!!.

sorry guys but a car that comes supercharged stock cant really be a sleeper...maybe if you told some noron thet the sc squeel was actually a bad power steering pump...lmao...but really ..from what ive seen....the people that build sleepers usually cant afford the nice parts ...from what ive seen...like if i were getting crazy under hood temps but couldnt afford a hood i would lift the rear of it (not really...i would remove the weather strip)

hahahahahahahahaha.... *breath* hahahahahaha. your right, the reason i don't have a hood with vents pointing all directions is that i'm just too broke to be as cool as you lol. some people don't see the point of spending thousands to make there car look fast, when they can put the money towards something else.
