I've narrowed down my car dying, to when using the turn signal. It is an intermittent problem, but does happen often when using the turn signal and possibly more often after the car has sat in the hot 95 degree sun for several hours. It died 4 times in a row when turning on the turn signal in my driveway after replacing the front turn signal bulb. I've read that it could be the ignition switch or the multi function switch. Is there any way to tell for sure?

Apparently this is a common problem for the Buick GS....is it also a common problem for the GTP's?

I would vote ignition switch. The multi function switch should not have any thing to do with the car running, just the lights, wipers , cruise etc.
