Anyone know how to disable the seatbelt warning chime on a 2007 Grand Prix?

Get a seatbelt from a junkyard, cut off the strap and throw it away, plug it in.

Thanks, but your personal opinions and commentary aren't really helpful if you don't have the answer.

The problem is, sometimes the chime will continue to go off even with the seatbelt fastened. The car isn't under warranty anymore and I don't want to pay to have this fixed. I figure if I just disable the chime completely the problem will be solved. Should be easy enough to do if I could just figure out how to do it.
