good and bad filters are always going to be an opinion. my advise: find a DRY FLOW filter and use that because the oil on oiled filters kills your MAF.

Well i believe i am going to buy the parts tonight. I have decided to go with the spectre air filter in blue. (this is on advice from a co-worker who has a spectre in his TA). I am getting the parts and painting the pipe tonight. Then tomorrow will hopefully have time to drill and install! Ill show pics when it is done

Ok so while out last night... As always I started comparing prices.. and quality. I have a question. Would it be better to use PVC for every thing or i saw a spectre piece that was Gull alminum metal piece with the bend i wanted. Which would be better? Also what size intake do i need ive heard both 3" and 4" what comes out of the TB and what would work best? THanks guys

the TB inlet is 3.5", we promote a 4" intake setup for maximum flow potential. the intake material is up to you, it really doesnt matter, but anything metal will heat soak faster.

I used a wire re-inforced 4 inch hose. Click on "My Garage" to see pictures. Some might think it's ugly, but it works well. It was about 8 bucks a foot. One of the fastest Grand Nationals in the country uses about 5 feet of this stuff to re-locate his air cleaner behind the bumper in a sealed off area that actually creates a "Ram Air" effect at higher speeds and has proven a 2-3 tenths increase in quarter mile times.
