Well i accomplished a bit of a project this weekend by installing a new SC coupler, however after having disconnected the battery and moving the fuse box a bit, my HUD is no longer displaying the radio functions. It still works fine as far as the speedometer goes, and and i turn the key on it lights up perfectly, however the CD function or the radio stations show up. the radio is a stock GM radio but i was not the one that originally came with the vehicle. any ideas as to what happened or how to fix this?

    thanks

well this seems like it might be progressively fixing itself. now when i turn the car on, the HUD will display the radio station or CD track im listening to, but when it disappears to only show the speed, i cant get it to return when i switch radio stations, change tracks, or alter the volume

No it works just fine over any road conditions. i thought it might have been a loose wire somewhere in the system but it seems to act normally other than not showing back up after the initial display. I'm not sure if disconnecting the batter made my radio lock up.

Its really not that imperative that its fixed because its only the radio and cd functions, but it just kinda irks me

I have a silly question. What exact radio functions show on the 2004 HUD? I see cd stuff and radio station. Thats it. I couldve sworn it showed volume at one point and mileage.

I've taken my HUD out, all the solder points looked fine.
