I'm tryin to install a performance chip and I have to figure out which wires on the mass air flow sensor or for the IAT sensor. It's a 2004 Pontiac grand prix gt

Send the chip back. Chips on these cars are a joke and do NUTHING. The only way to "CHIP" or add "PERFORMANCE" is by tuning the cars PCM. That chip you bought does not do anything and you have to tune or add performance parts to get more HP and torque out of these cars.

Read this, it will tell you just about everthing you need to know to add HP and to help it out:http://www.grandprixforums.net/f81/s...car-17482.html

Russ, yes, it's that big of a joke. Try to return it to the vendor. Read the thread in the link above and get the other stuff done.

Common sense indicating not to buy one of these:

    1. Ebay seller probably has one of these for sale for every vehicle from a turbo diesel to a Panoz roadster.

    2. All of his ads have the same picture and the same price, suggesting it is the same mod for a turbo diesel or a Daewoo.

    3. Not acquiring knowledge about what you are buying. A resistor that adds HP???

    4. They allegedly add both HP and fuel economy. Most mods don't do both.

    5. Item is shipping from overseas.

I didn't realize you guys might be friends and thought it sounded completely rude, as what you get on the internet so much. I'm no internet thug, and that is what the other person sounded like to me. -sick of reading stuff like that from punks. I apologize.
