Hey how beneficial would a short stack intercooler be on an engine with a 3.4 pulley setup ( 3.4" pulley, headers, cai, pcm, plugs, stat ) ? Does it prolong engine life ?

prolong engine life? no.
will it help with being able to run more boost and/or timing? yes.
should you just buy a full size intercooler instead? yes.
