Just wondering if anyone knows exactly what it takes to make the switch over to E85. Besides the larger Injectors and a tune, is there anything else necessary?

gm says otherwise.... but most people say thats about it.

just drain the system and change the fuel filter.

How do you think a mini afc would do for the initial tuning?

Probably not very good. But you never know. I'd go for personalized tune. I mean the AFC's did the trick back in the day but you can't beat a personalized tune. Plus with E85 you can probably add more timing

I think you also need a bigger fuel pump. You might check into that though.

you'd have to skew with an AFC a lot in order to get it to work. a tuner is what you need considering you'd need new injector maps.

I wasn't really sure what all it took. I don't have a tuner, but I do have a PCM with adjustable timimg "Happy Knob" I have this from back in the day when my car was actually fast.... I also have an AFC, so was just wondering. E85 wasn't ever an option before but a couple more places near by have started carrying the gas so I guess its an option now. I guess I need to look into the fuel pump issues.
