AFAIK it's like the F-body caliper upgrade. I don't know what year vette calipers work for this though.

No advantage. The Vette calipers are made of a lighter alloy and the Fbodys actually have slightly larger pots.

Actually the advantage is better brake feel.
Smaller pots = less pedal travel for the same clamping force.

Pretty sure the C6 calipers are bigger and we only use the C4-C5 calipers...anyone know that the big Baer brake upgrade was just C4 calipers right? Just a nice way to have PFYC make thousands off people who used to buy em...

I put C5 calipers on my '98 GTP and love the pedal feel --- they'll stop on a dime and give you 7 cent of change. They bolt to f-body brackets without a problem. Bend the stock hoses forward a bit and you're good to go.

Do you need f-body brackets then, or can you use vette brackets if you get em?
