    sorry man.

i would suggest resistor first, yes. cheap enough part and easy enough to replace if you can bend a little lol

Bad part is, I have no idea if it was my motor or the resistor! I replaced the motor first and no luck then replaced the resistor but never hooked the old blower up to the new resistor. In the end I kept both new parts, hoping to not have problems with the other later! All together it was about $100 for the job!

well if you replaced the motor first and nothing happened then it wasnt your motor.. i did both at the same time, just cuz its a pain to change, so might as well do both.

It COULD have been both! I am glad I replaced them both at the same time. Hopefully it will keep me from going through the hassle of all that again. It was a PITA!!!!

That picture is of the module that the digital dual climate control has. Yes, its $177. Guess I should of specified that mine is a digital dual climate control, not just a regular dual climate control. All other units run a resistor, which has a tall circuit board sticking out of it. Those are like $50.00.

Word of advice...don't get the AutoZone/O'Reilly's specials for resistors and fans. Ya it might be cheap...and ya it might have a "lifetime warranty" but its really-really not worth the hassle replacing them. The GF's GTP, her resistor has been replaced close to a dozen times, and her fan atleast three times, all O'Reilly specials. I'm getting tired of it, and her resistor is needing to be replaced once again, because she does not have several of her 5 fan speed settings. This time, were dropping the little extra, and buying one from the dealer.
