3800 not supercharged engines

I am having a problem with my car and i am pretty sure im looking at havine to replace the engine.... anyways i was just wondering if you guys know how much a new 3800 goes for its an L67 right? or is that what they call the supercharged version? I have a 99 gt coupe and also is it maybe better for me to get a supercharged 3800 instead if i have to do the swap? is there alot of modifications that have to be done? Thanks
