    finally ran into the key stuck in the ignition problem at 1AM today and was stuck in the driveway wrestiling this shyt thank god there is a thread on this already....everyone who owns a gp should just save themselves some turmoil go in and rip this shyt out now lol

    NO LONGER USING THIS NAME MY NEW USER IS BOOSTJUNKI3!!!!

    you are right ditch that mother , had the same problem , couldnt leave the car because of that , and found out that under the steering column theres a hole in there and you poke it with something thin and just turn back your switch .. im glad i trashed it .

    When it fails it makes the PCM think your trying to steal the car or something or and keeps the key locked in the ignition...and then you can't shift it. OR...you ghetto it like I did for 2 weeks and used a flathead screwdriver and shove it up the hole under the wheel Go on jokesters...left it WIDE open for you... It was just a PITA more than anything...

    had the problem poked the button pulled the key out, then put a zipstrip around the button holding it up. problem solved! never had a problem w it since.

    and no problems leaving the connector unplugged?
    2002 GTP: K&N, 3.2 pulley, flipped mounts. ZZP SS headers, 180 stat, NGK TR6's, MSD wires, Reptile ported TB, ported S/C, ported LIM, Intense Stage II heads with larger Manley severe duty SS valves, Yella Terra 1.9 full roller rockers, LS6 springs, Racetronix fuel pump re-wire, Oil pressure "kit", JMB FWI. Mustang dynoed at 240 WHP, 272 WTQ.
