I went to change my fuel filter and found this...
    http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...0/IMG_0165.jpg

I have tried 1/4 can of PB Blaster, another 1/4 of penetrating fluid, 2 sets of vice grips...Which in the pic. you can see is Deff. grabbing the nut. But I can't for the life of me break the filter loose from the fuel line!!! I've sprayed, tapped, sprayed, tapped... nothing
very close to using a torch...jk
Its just a car.......with rust and dreams for the future!!!!

I was thinking about using some sort of flexible rubber tubing, but I'm not sure thats possible.

Thinking about just cutting the line and using a brass adapter with a piece of hose. I think I'm pretty much ****ed anyways.....

I'm hoping thats its gotta do something with the leaverage

if you cant get the nut to move youre going to have to cut the lines and replace, dude. not trying to make your job a lot harder, but i was lucky enough to get mine off. i only replaced it once on my car and never again.

I've used a 13/16" on the filter?....granted close enough. I tried for 2 days/2-3 hours total, and said **** it. Will let someone else deal with it. Though they will probably kink the fuel line and charge me for it.... which kinking it was my biggest fear. Looks like my fuel/vapor/brake lines are all getting rusty anyways...

could u/i use some sort of rubber tubbing with a brass nipple into the filter? Only flexible fuel line is see is for chainsaws, traxx cars, weedeaters, etc. Not looking to mess with braided lines...

i did the fuel filter on my car recently and yes the fuel line nut is stationary. hold it with a pair of lockjaws if necessary and turn the filter with a wrench. if you do get it off make sure to use a little anti-sieze on the filter threads but keep the top 2 threads free of anti-seize and next time you won't have this problem. again. the fuel line nut doesn't turn...

There is a product made by Rust Check called FREEZE.
I assume its like liquid nitrogen in a can. Spray it with liquid wrench, hit it a couple of times with the FREEZE and keep tapping it with a wrench.
Its called cold shock. Some of the rust started flaking off in chunks.
Didn't mess up my fuel at all and it worked!
Shocked the hell out of me.
Spent weeks trying then turned like nothing was ever wrong.
