    Hey guys.

Womans battery died in her remote entry this morning so she went to try the key in her door (04 grand prix gt) and it fit but wouldnt turn either way to unlock. Is there supposed to be a second key for the locks? I was under the assumption that they ignition key was supposed to do both?

I got her a new battery and it works fine, but I dont want this to happen again because it really messed up her day having to walk to my parents house and borrow a car.

    Thanks in advance.

Really? No one can tell me if their ignition key works to unlock their door? Or if they have a separate key?

Theres only a different key if you change the lock cylinders.
