So, the GP is going back to the body shop for two weeks. I was wondering if i can take the supercharger belt off while it's there. I know it's a little neurotic, but the 4000 of damage that it incurred was due to some stupid driving by my roommate.

It's perfectly safe to take off if you're worried about them joyriding. Just don't get into the gas enough to get into power enrichment or it'll get so rich you'll look like a diesel spewing carbon out the exhaust.

Yeah, the body shop called me today...they took it for a test drive to check for mechanical damage, which there is none, and told me at that when they tried to "pass people" they were getting black smoke out the exhaust...something tells me they went joyriding.

Yep, black smoke is the result of power enrichment with no boost to lean it out lol. I wish I knew how pig rich it was getting haha
