Ok it's been long enough that a quick backstory is probably due here... A long time ago I got a GTP, but the dealer picked a personal fight with e and I walked away from it... Then recently a friend let me know a little dealer was about to crush a 2 door that had everything I wanted just because it had a bad transmission... So we rebuilt the trans, replaced the spark system (much to my dismay we used msd packs, but they were here and free), and generlly got the car in shape...

The only problem left aside from an evap code was the lingering ignition circut bypass high voltage thing... It's making random misfires too, but I blame the bypass for the other problem... The spark controler, coils (technically), wires, and plugs have all been changed... Now I started ignoring the car recently because of some medical junk, but i'm back in and the car deserves to run right... The harness at the spark controler has a pretty sad look to it, and i'm almost certain the end 2 wires in the connector are partially loose... Tan with a stripe, and another one I can't remember...

I'm about to blame the whole problem on those wires at the attachment to the packs... Am I probably right? Anyone have any ideas? If I can get some reassurance, i'm going to let the local guru here work some magic on the electrical... But if it's something stupid, I don't want to waste his time...
