I have a 99 GTP and I recently purchased a set of KYBs and Eibachs off of a guy and I was wondering what other parts should I replace?

    Strut bearing, plate, spring insulator?

Should i replace any of those or just transfer over the ones I have on my car?

    165k miles..

Most Auto parts stores have the mount sets which comes with all you need to mount new struts with that many miles I would go ahead and replace them. I think we got the last set at Oreileys. The spring insulator should still be fine.

Dude you are the one that bought them off CL. I called right after you did. Good buy!! I would replace the strut plate and mount. Make sure you have some antipogo washers too.. I seen your rims on CL too.. TOO bad you did not want to sell them I would have bought them. I got some evo5's now. Take some before and after pix..

Alright I have both of my old front struts and springs out and I can not get my new KYBs and Eibachs in place. I rread Rocky Mountain Club Grand Prix that if I am using lowering springs I will NOT need to compress the springs in order to get the strut back in place. The knuckle is too high and strut obviously too low... off by about 3 inches

    Anyone ever experience this?

Do I need to compress my springs?

    Thanks!
