Got an engine light, read the code says it's running lean. The only thing I can think is the gas I'm running. I ususally run 87 in Idaho and now I'm in washington with 91 with 10% ethenol in it. We don't have any gas in Eastern Idaho with ethenol in it so I'm thinking it's a contributing factor.

Also after a day of the light being on it went away.

    Any Ideas?

I run 91 with ethenol in mine and have had no problems. When was the last time your plugs and wire have been changed? Does it have a rough idle? A strong rich smell coming from the exhaust?

Sounds like a fuel injector issue to me. I recommend dropping a can of SeaFoam in the gas tank. And do your self a big favor, if it runs lean again get it fixed ASAP. Lean engines can self destruct, so tread carefully.

I still think it's a Oxygen sensor because my gas mileage took a major dump.

I checked this week on vacum leaks and found the t-fitting on the throttle body had pretty well disentegrated. after the scramble to find a dealer I got it replaced reset my codes and so far it's holding and no codes are tripping.

I am getting the same "Running Lean" code and I went to GM to get the t-fitting for the Throttle Body, because mine had a crack in it. GM is making me buy the WHOLE set-up with the tubing and everything for $23. They said they can't just order the t-fitting for me. And the guy said no one in NY state had it in stock. Are they taking advantage of me or does this sound feasible?

There are cracks in more lines than you can see. I would just replace it all with the kit the dealer is selling you.
