I've had this for 6 years..i wouldnt waste 250 bucks tho on this..its not hard to make your own that is just as effective for way less..
1.) yes.
2.) LQ4 IAT temp refresh rate is close to instant.
3.) I didn't see it was N/A, alot of people re-map the maf tables to not let high intake temp reading on your IAT pull timing. (basically set max. iat) the car will still get heat soak but no sluggish launch.
Well, I cleaned the filter today and decided to change to a 3" 'short ram' just using spare parts from the FWI. Hopefully it'll produce results I can share.
I'll be getting parts for a 4" after another member gets back from Vegas, just not sure what we'll make, FWI or short ram.
Yea I got the 4x3 reducing coupling today, just need the street 45 and some 4" tubing, which I plan on getting tomorrow and I'll install it Friday if it's not raining for once. Should the pipe be short tho, so it's real close to the TB or should it be longer so it's more near the headlight area?
either or will work, whichever you feel more comfortable with.
yes, what bio said, if you want "cold air" go into the fender behind the headlight.
