My tranny takes off in second and doesnt go into over drive at all. 92 grand prix 3.4 dohc. Every other gear works smooth like butter. I got the hud on the vehicle,( heads up display,) and there is sopposed to be a switch that you can switch for a second gear start. When i bought the car a couple days ago it dint have it. So got one out of the junk yard and plugged it in, light works but no first gear. Would this be something that the switch isnt letting it engage into first or od? If anyone knows i would glady take the info. Or anyone ever heard of this?
