so i used to get 22-24mpg in city and about 330+ a full tank. but not im getting about 85-90 in a half tank. all iv done to the car is put a 4"intake on it. and i know i have a p0141 SES which is rear 02 sensor. what else should i look for to fix the guzzling? and no i havnt been racing around town.

I just got mine and I get around 90 to a quarter tank? Is that normal? Fuel computer says 17.2-16.5 per gallon

try replacing the fuel filter... it is a commonly overlooked maintenance item with vehicles that have them. when i bought mine i was getting about the same. come to find out that someone put the fuel filter for an s10 on my car. they look exactly the same, just go on backwards. its amazing how much one of those can make a difference. replacing that o2 will help as well. you can do a search and will find that it has been talked about many times.

i'm not really sure then, like i said just replace the fuel filter. its a good scapegoat. does the car lack power in any way?.. does it fall flat on its face under hard throttle input?

In my case I have no codes at all and defiantly no power loss. I'm no lead foot either. Just was a curious question thats all.

and i also just recently found out yesterday sometimes when driving usually after i take a turn i can smell gas. i havnt found any hoses that are leaking or lose. and the tank is not banged up at all so i dunno. maybe that could be the issue of me only getting 22mpg on highway ?

maybe its also cuz my car lost 4th gear. i noticed for the first time yesterday but that was the first time iv driving major highway miles recently. so even missing 4th driving on the street might have something to do with the bad mpg.
