I imagine this one may be a Farnsworth question, however, how do you lstore supercharger rotors long term? These like most will be mounted on the rotor plate. I want to keep the rotors scratch free, the rotor plate rust/corrosion free and clean and equally important eliminate any stress where the rotors are pressed into the plate.

Not a SC specialist, but I would think that taking the rotors off the plate and spraying everything with cosmoline (Cosmoline - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and storing each in it's own plastic bag, then wrapped in bubble wrap would be the best bet...
    The GPs are long gone...

    ^that would work, or...

leaving the SC oil on the gear side for protection, and for the rotors, I would get an old but clean hand towel and fold it once or twice depending on the size, and have enough to completely wrap around the rotors 360*.

What I do when the rotor assembly goes into the polishers, I will interlock the towel in between the rotors, so you kinda screw the towel into the rotor pack gently, then wrap the towel around the rest of the exposed rotors, and then wrap the towel in duct tape to hold the towel in place, and offer even more protection.

For your storage...getting you a thick, heavy gauge plastic bag, and getting as much air as possible out of it would also be a good idea if they are a good set. All of my rotors and blowers are just stored on an open shelf, as I don't really care...they are getting fully rebuilt anyway.

DOH! Important piece of information left out. Since my s/c was making a noise, like described in this thread http://www.grandprixforums.net/f81/t...belt-2579.html I ordered another coupler, fluid and a very nice set of rotors. The rotors are mounted on the rotor plate and that's all I'm getting. So I will either be storing this set for a later date or installing them and storing my current set, which very likely is still good.

You guys have given me so good ideas to work with though.
