Sounds more like a security system issue to me?

But yeah, fuel pump may not have been the problem in the first place.

I changed the plugs with champion not AC ,the car started after pumping the petal almost running the battery down.Their was lots of fumes and smoke from exhaust but this cleared. The car ran good until the next day , I tryed starting and it would not start again, the pressure had droped to 3psi before starting but at key on jumped up to 60psi. checked plugs ,all we're fouled out. I pulled fuel rail and checked injectors for leaking seems ok , checked MAP, MAF ok, checked for spark at plugs seems ok. Could it be a weak coil . Car still trys to start like its flooded lots of fumes also should their be 50psi on the fuel rail at all times?
