hoping some one could help...is there anything i need to kno before making it final..sizing, quality, sound?

still a noob here shed some light on me

oh and if this is in the wrong section i apolagize, feel free to move it.

Nothing sounds good on these cars. I have a set of stock mufflers if you want them.

Catbacks are no good until you hit the 350 FWHP mark...so doubt that your there. 3" catted downpipe is a good start...if you have a dremel you can pull off your front manifold and hog it out for free instead of paying over $100 for a ZZP PLOG...and it maybe nets you 1-2 more HP...the catted 3" DP will make the car a little louder...not much...not enough to be noticeable...you could also...after that...put a glasspack in place of the stock resonator. Doing those 2 things will make a difference. Now go to the General Tech section and read my thread called Safely Modding your 3800.

    see link in sig

for a 3.4 you need either a plog with downpipe or headers. ask around on here, alot of guys recommend going straight with the headers

I wish i would have went straight to the headers instead of dicking around with the Ported Exhaust Manifolds and Downpipes. Ehh... I could have save so much money.

everyone hates pacesetters, but alot of guys like SS autochrome headers. 350 bucks shipped Turbo Kits, Turbo Manifolds, Import Performance Products, SSAutochrome Inc.

I do not see any headers in the GM section that say they are for the grand prix. Maybe you can post me the link becuase i can't seem to find them. 350 bucks shipped sounds good.

Any header for a 97-03 gp will fit an 04+. There is a guy on here running them.
