I'd rather put the cat on and leave it on than have to put one on every two years for an e-test.

Yeah thats true i would rather have one and not worry about it but thats me lol just cause here in mass is every year that it has to to through an emissions test. :(
Any word on those ssac knockoffs??
idk i cant justify ditching my plog/d/p for a set of headers..i just dont see a hp dif. making it worth the money unless i decide to further mod my car to where id NEED them
TTT lots of header questions coming up again.
stickyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Sticky this sheet already
please sticky...ive posted threads three different times for the info this thread has and never knew it was here....and yes i searched!
done and done.
Thank you, Sir!
I just got my speed daddy headers in the mail today. im not putting them on until this weekend. i was curious if im going to have to get any welding done ? if i do i might send them back.
i believe you need to weld the downpipe section to your catback, but i could be wrong.
ts not bad.... is that the only issue ? will i need any kind of clamps in case?
you need some better band clamps then the ones supplied. a 'step' clamp would be best if you could get the right sized one.
someone buy the speed daddy headers and cut all the slip joints and weld on v-band flanges. those headers would be unbeatable as far as ease of install and sealing. the only issue would still be that retarded downpipe bend..
After reading these threads for the past 2 days i still have no conclusion. Someone please type it out in caps. What headers in between 200-400 dollar price range need the least amount of modding or welding to get them on ?
Ssac or speed daddy they are the same thing and in that price range.
Cool im all set, i have a better understanding of headers. Thanks.
