I haven't seen one of these yet around here. I was thinking someone could get a list of torque specs for fastners on our cars. I am about to go through the top end of my regal and replace all the gaskets but I can't seem to remember the torque specs. I hope this was the right section for this.

I need the specs for the valve body and pump bolts. Also those for the bolts holding the cover over the drive chains. Can anyone please help?

    Thanks. Dan

These numbers will work for both Series 2 and 3 engines. The design of the supercharger/upper intake was the only major difference, and bolting everything down will be to the same spec. (source: just like many here, I've ran a 2006 GTP engine 11yrs for my turbo setup and 2006 LaCrosse engine 13yrs for my supercharged setup, both with combinations of Series 2 and 3 parts all over)

It should connect to the differential cover and the block behind the oil pressure sender. I'd put it on there for the support.

I put it all back together without the support bracket and it feels bumpy, it feels like the motor mount is bad
For this 2005 do I have to take parts off to fit it back on?

You may have to move the PS pump for access, along with the splash guard in the wheel well.

Also, check all your mounts to make sure they're snug.

It's not a big task... Pull wheel, 3-4 plastic retainers for splash guard, 2x13mm bolts thru PS pulley... Install 4x bracket bolts (loose at first to line them up, then snug down).

And.. on a 2005 you'll have a slightly different looking engine to trans bracket, but it ends up in the same place.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I tried to line it up for like 40 minutes before I put it back together
With no luck, I will try again this weekend
But now I have another problem, after driving the car for more than 10 minutes if I come to a stop sign the rpms stay high
Like the throttle body is sticking, I can hear the car revs high
    What could be causing that
