I was running a 3.0 and E85 with a 100 shot. I was seeing 17degrees of timing and 0KR when spraying but I kept having problems losing fuel pressure at the top of second gear or right after the third shift and had to shut the N2O off. I just needed to change my whole setup and didn't have the money so I sold everything before I found my motors limit.
A friend of mine had a 98 GT and was spraying 2 stages for a 200HP total. He also had a separate fuel system that was filled with 110 unleaded race gas. If he would step up one of the stages 25hp then the motor would miss and backfire or blow tranny parts out but the motor held up fine. That car was crazy fast when you flipped the switch. Well maybe not crazy fast but for a pretty much stock car with a huge N2O setup it would move.
yeah i wanna keep it light i may even go with a 50 shot....just something fun...
the motor will take a 75-100 shot pretty well if you drop a couple degrees of timing when you are spraying. i just dont know if youre going to need it when youre already running e85.
mike??????? or something talked about how hes sprayed almost 200 on his car. supposidly the fastest stock cam gtp. its in the 11's
yeah his car takes alot of spray and e85....thats the inspiration for this setup, but we'll see how happy i am with the tiny pulley and e85 first![]()
^ yes that is way you should really own a tuner if you want to run e-85. That way you can change back if you run out somewhere.
Or just buy a spare pcm and swap it back.
