My winter beater recently died, so I'm in need of a new daily driver/winter car. My summer car is an 03 Cobra and it will be impossible to drive in the wintertime near Cleveland... so...

I found a 2001 GTP coupe for sale. It's fully loaded, power everything, moonroof, leather heated seats, Bose sound, etc. 65k miles. 100% stock. One owner, driven primarily by a female. It has been sitting for about 6 months because they got another car. It's got a clean title and most of the maintenance has been performed by a dealership... which would have service records. Knowing the history alone is worth a ton for me.

He did say the headlights were hazy and there were a few rock chips in the hood, but no rust on the body. It has the GOD AWFUL 3 spoke wheels. That will get changed as soon as the spring rolls around. I saw another GT on the roads the other day with those and I almost vomited.

They wanted $7700. KBB says it's only worth about $6k. NADA says $8k if its clean. I'd probably offer him $7k.

I'm going to look at it on Tuesday and buy it on Wednesday if everything checks out. What do you think?
