The previous owner changed the pulley system and did the mods before i got the car..

The Dual Speakers aren't top of the line, yes i know that and i will be upgrading to some Rockford Fosgate 15's in about a month

That head unit is top of the Line you moron. just because it doesnt have a screen that pops out and has Dolphins on it doesnt make it ****ty. its What i wanted with the USB port

Ricer tail lights? Hardly lol. the Old ones looked like **** very faded and one of the tail lights had a crack in it. so i replaced it

and to the gentleman regarding the paint. It has a Few Small "Chicken Mark" type scratches on the hood, hardly noticable unless you look close

which is why im getting it re done here soon.

none of those are supporting mods.

You need exhaust work to drop the pulley size.

Who gives a **** how much you spent on your deck, the deck doesnt make your speakers sound good... and sure as **** won't make a sub in the trunk sound good either.

This is what we mean by supporting mods:

Well start with the 3.4 pulley as it usually starts the majority of these questions. Below you will find a list of supporting mods that should be in place prior to installing that 3.4. Can you get away with less? Possibly. Have people gotten away with less? Yes. Do you want to take the chance? Enough said.

    1. PCM- standard v 1.0 will suffice at this level.
    2. CAI/FWI- Cold Air Intake/ Fenderwell Intake, you can build your own or purchase one from a vendor.
    3. Ported Exhaust Manifolds/ Headers/ ZZP Powerlog- your choice, at this level Pems or the Powerlog are fine, if your planning on further modding later you will need headers, only you know your budget.
    4. 3" Downpipe- Crushbendt which most exhaust shops will do is unadvised, preferable to purchase an aftermarket from one of the vendors.
    5. 1-2 Heat range colder plugs. i.e Autolite 104's or equivelent gapped in the .050-.055 range
    6. Ubend delete- just after the cat, most exhaust shops will be able to remove this and put in a straight pipe.

oh hell, you changed the oil and filter yourself as well as installed a new thermostat paired with new coolant elbows? looks like your ready for a 2.8 pulley.

Yea sorry to tell you bro, what you mentioned above will not "support" that pulley drop. Those are just things to keep the car running longer....

LOL! Thank you for your maintanence list. I should of figured as much. Please do that car a favor...trade it in on a Kia with a 100k warranty before you kill it.

And last time i checked you could buy sony at wal-mart...DAMN Wal-mart sells top of the line car audio now!!?? Well why the hell am i spending so much on Eclipse head units when i could have better quality with a sony! wow....

and those tail lights are rice. If the same style tail is made for a honda and sold on ebay, there rice. Thats all there is to it. Add a Type-R sticker or GT-R and they will look ok though
F clean cars, I Ride Dirty!.....to hide the wicked body damage...
97 GP GTP- Mystic Teal, 218k, fixing the damage
91 Cherokee- 4 in. Lift, 31 Kumho M/T, tons of fun
03 Chevy S10- full bag setup on order, will drag frame in under a month

you need to trust these guys on this site when it comes to modding g/ps. they are here to try and stop you from doing some serious damage. Good luck fitting two fifteens in their. i could only fit one and still have room for the amps...but then again my sub requires a decent size box. idk about that head unit if it is really from the "xplode" line that u just bought garabage. go nd get a pioneer premier comes with a copper frame to minimize distortion...one of the only headunits to do it for under 350. nd as far as subs go if u want the best imo get a 12 w7. they are ridiculously loud and very clean. one 12 w7 would probably be just as loud as my 15" mtx 9500...nd that is no bottom shelf sub either. i agree with most others i dont like the tail lights but that is just personal taste.

Measure your pulley. If it is stock size you got screwed by the previous owner but lucky that it is stock. Without supporting mods, engine go boom. If it is not stock size, you better buy a new motor.

If your pushing that 9500 the right way, I doubt it would compare.

    [ SoundSplinter Subwoofers - RL-s 12" Subwoofer Information ]

Thats the best sounding 12" sub you can buy new.

If you could find a TC Sounds 5400 LMS you'd be king of the world in terms of clean SPL.

Check out Fi Car Audio for some "dealz". $250 for the same Xmax, sensitivity, and power handling as the W7? Very nice...
