My SRS airbag light came on after my battery died completly.... In the morning when trying to start it up, it didn't. the battery was completly dead, later on the road, my SRS airbag light turned on followed by check engine. I have been told that a bad battery can cause the SRS light to come on becuase the battery is not suppling enough volts to the system. The autozone guy told me that the battery is bad after he tested it, he said that the batter was not sending the right volts. Ok so after I replaced the battery, my check engine light went off but my SRS airbag stayed on! Have any of you had this problem before? I know I'm supposed to take it to the dealer and have it checked, but with this crisis? haha no money. If the bad battery caused the SRS light to came on how do I turn it off or I should wait few days until turns itself off?
