so after noticing my trans starting to shift funny, i had it flushed and dex6 new filter etc etc and some kind of additive. well i had a p0420 code from not having a CAT. after i got car back they had cleared the code for p0420. on the way home from work taking the same route i take everyday, i reset DIC and noticed i was getting 33-34 mpg! on highway that is. over 40 mile trip and it never went under 33 mpg unless i slowed down and sped back up up. anyways my question is and it may be a dumb one is it because that code was cleared out or trans flush that my mileage got better. i was only getting 28-29 mpg on the same commute up until i had this done. mods in sig on stock tune.

If I reset my dic while driving it will hit 40+ ... but quickly fall back down. I would calculate your mpg by miles... not the dic.. Mine is always off.

yea thats the thing though, im aware that it isnt 100% acurate... it held steady at 33-34mpg at 65 mph for 40ish miles on highway when up until today it was 28-29 sometime lower, on same stretch of rd...
